Summer 2017

Christ the King CYO Basketball Summer Clinics:

The purpose of the Christ the King CYO basketball clinics is to keep our parish children active in basketball during the off season and to help improve and develop fundamental skills essential to the sport. We believe this will help kids have more success during the CYO season and make playing and participating in CYO basketball more fun.

This program is for FOR BOYS and GIRLS GRADES 3 – 8

Each Session will be broken up for three groups of boys and girls and will last approximately one hour. Time slots per grade are follow:

3rd and 4th grade – 4:30-5:30PM
5th and 6th grade – 5:45-6:45PM
7th and 8th grade – 7:00 – 8:00PM

The dates for the clinics will be the following:

Sundays: 4, 11, 18, 25

$40 for all Summer Camps
Please note because of space, we will cap the program at 40 players per group.

The format for month to month will stay the same. As the summer advances, the program will get progressively more advanced.  For example: July 12 will be ball handling and passing, but will feature more advanced skills including one-one-one and pick & roll drills. There will be a review at the beginning of each to help ensure each player has an understanding of drills taught the previous week.

  1. Hello,

I was driving by and saw you had summer basketball. I know it started this past Wednesday. Do you happen to have room for another? My son, going into 5th gRade, would love to do this.

    Thanks for your time.
